Journal Update

Phew doesn't time run away when your busy. Working crazy hours at the moment, and spending time in the garden now that the weather has retreated to something under boiling point yay! Winter is finally around the corner here and I am so happy! I love our winters here. They're probably more like everyone else's springs, warm days and cool nights, perfection! Hooray for the ability to finally wear jeans again without collapsing into a squishy, perpspiration drenched heap!

But fear not bloggers, I have been arting away quietly, well somewhat noisily really! I've been buried in the studio trying to catch up a bit as well as enjoying lots of new music I've just downloaded and getting lost in projects! It has been a fabulous battery recharging time and has resulted in a huge increase in creative energy again! So, I thought I'd give you the rest of the journal making pics today so you could se how it turned out. Here's the inside back cover.

Yes time to go back to reality again, thanks for playing!

The back cover.

and here it is all finished and sewn together.

This was so much fun to do. Thanks to Teesha for all the inspiration, it's been a blast, in fact it has been so much fun I may just keep doing some more journal pages in this style for a while!

Hey sweets, yes the pages are done on fabric, unbleached calico. Loved the result it gave. The fabric stiffens after the 'treatments' but remains flexible enough to sew with ease! Happy mother's day to all of you out in blogland too! Hugs!

Oh boy do I know how time flies when you're having fun! Omg Kim but these journal pages ROCK!!! I can see how time would fly, indeed! I'm loving the fact that you have also got your creative juices flowing again - it means I guess that you're happy and have come thru some of those dastardly hurdles you experienced these last few months. I'm very happy for you!
